How do you rate their "service"?
ALL are welcome. If you are an injured federal worker, please make your voice heard here. This information is to document the nationwide failure of the OWCP system for federal workers and press for reform. See more on this survey at bottom of this page. Please check only those items that apply in your individual claim(s) and give details on those items in the text box at the bottom. These items apply only to your work-related medical condition or conditions, whether accepted claims or not.
Do NOT submit this information to us more than once. You can communicate with Congress anytime you wish, but pleast do NOT send this to a Congressman or anyone else. This is our own form to compile and categorize the problems claimants face, and we send the whole compliation periodically to Congressional representatives. The results are compiled and provided to members periodically as statistical data (without identifying information)
This is YOUR voice in Congress. This is NOT our membership form-- click

FedupFeds is using this survey to document the need for Congress to order an independent, comprehensive "customer service" survey to get the input of injured claimants themselves. We want Congress to order such a survey. That in turn will give us the official documentation to press for (A) reforms of OWCP across the board, for (B) ethical standards enforcement in claims handling, and for (C) the right to use the courts and attorneys to enforce the laws.
Previous GAO and IG reports have been seriously flawed by not getting real input from injured workers themselves. Over the last six months, we have developed the questions on this survey by studying hundreds of online applications to FedupFeds, mailing list comments, and private communications.
In hearings they get plenty of vague, unfocused complaints which they cannot remedy individually or as a group. But OUR purpose is to show the patterns in OWCP injury claim problems, and demonstrate the need for specific legislative reforms in the FECA to correct those problem patterns. Specific legislative proposals are a work in progress.
Our Director testified at the Long Beach hearing July 1998 and put many members reports into the hearing record itself. She was in fact, the only director of any injured workers organization who was invited and who took the trouble to be there and speak for injured workers nationwide across a wide range of federal agencies. Unions were invited but declined.
